Perenjori from the Aboriginal word "Perangery" meaning water hole is situated on the Wubin-Mullewa Highway, 350 kilometres from Perth via Great Northern Highway. 
Perenjori was officially announced a town on February 16th 1916. It can be easily accessed from the north via Geraldton via the coast passing through Dongara then to Mingenew, onto Morawa or via Mullewa. All roads to Perenjori are sealed bitumen. Perenjori is surrounded by a rich grain and sheep area and is only a short distance from mining and pastoral (station) country to the east.
Perenjori has all facilities required for the discerning traveller eg Supermarket, Post Office/Telecentre, Newsagent, Hotel, Sporting Club, all sporting facilities (Cricket, tennis, golf, lawn bowls, netball, football, hockey, swimming pool, squash), Mechanic, Hairdresser, Gift shops plus more.

Perenjori has a 3 star Caravan Park which provides camp sites, caravan bays with power or without power, a 2 bedroom park home, and 4 new chalets - a lovely place to spend the night on your travels when you need a rest. Beginning in the autumn with various types of beautiful wattle, the flowers flourish until late in the year. Endless vistas of pink, white and yellow everlastings are most prolific from mid July to mid November on road verges and bush country, whilst the unique wreath flower can be found in all its glory in selected areas of the Shire.
